Expanding Perspectives, Understanding Realities

Lamphier- Gregory excels in urban land use planning, policy planning and physical planning for public sector plans and private land development projects. We are particularly adept at managing the challenges presented by large scale projects that involve complex issues requiring multi-disciplinary interaction. Our expertise in land use and policy planning, environmental analysis, public participation and inter-agency coordination makes us a valuable member of any team. Our problem-solving skills enable us to produce positive solutions reflecting broad community consensus.  We leverage our considerable environmental and project management experience to create land use and policy plans that feature:

  • Effective and realistic physical design solutions,
  • Environmentally sound performance standards,
  • Honest responses to community-based concerns and issues, and
  • Land use policies and plans that are meaningful, reasonable and are implementable.

We take direction from our clients and guide the work toward commitments for sound and sustainable land stewardship. Working with public agencies, citizen groups and diverse stakeholders, Lamphier-Gregory has experience with General Plans and General Plan Updates, Annexation Studies, Specific Plans, Master Development Plans, Resource Conservation Plans and Form Based Codes.

We believe that planning projects should lead to achievement of important community goals while protecting natural resources, respecting diverse community values, and reflecting political and economic realities. We conduct workshops, lead discussion and solicit public input. We also provide peer review services on plans and programs prepared by others.
