Assignment
Provided CEQA peer-review services to Alameda County, and facilitated coordination between the County Counsel’s Office, Community and Economic Development and General Services Agency and the EIR consultants to ensure that information and input to the process was timely and correctly provided. Assisted the County in developing appropriate mitigation strategies to address concerns from the surrounding neighborhood regarding noise, dust and traffic associated with construction, and worked with the County and various advocacy groups regarding the preservation and mitigation for impacts to certain historic resources. Lamphier- Gregory also prepared CEQA findings and County resolutions for project approvals.
Results
The Highlands Hospital project was approved by unanimous vote of the County Board of Supervisors in July 2008.
